Please read the following IMPORTANT info:

Upon arrival and before entering our art studio, you will be required to review and sign our workshop waiver/non-disclosure contract.

We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start time of the workshop so that we can start on time. Anyone arriving any later than 15 minutes after the start time will not be allowed to enter the workshop AND their reservation fee will NOT be refunded. Thank you for understanding!

Because of time constraints and the way our workshops are instructed, we can only allow each person to make ONE project per workshop. If there are multiple designs you’d like, we suggest adding a friend to purchase a spot and make it for you; plus that will just make for a great girls night too.

Unless noted, ALL workshops are for adults only! You must be at least 18 years old to attend an adult workshop. And at least 21 years old to bring/consume alcohol.

ALL of our projects involve wood! As you know, no two pieces of wood are alike! Grains, texture and aging/stain is different in every piece. There will be knots, chips, cracks and other natural blemishes that will give your piece character. You always have the option to leave it in it’s natural state OR paint to your style! If your project is being displayed outside or in an area prone to moisture we recommend that you protect it using the sealer or polyurethane of your choice which you can purchase at any local home improvement store or add our Gator Hide by Dixie Belle Paints to your project for an additional charge.

You may using electric sanders, cordless drills, staple/nail guns and other power tools. You may also be using sand paper, water based paints/stains and waxes.

Our workshop projects are nothing like our Take & Make kits. They require more time and guidance. Because of this, we do NOT allow workshop project materials to be taken home to be completed.

Cancellation Policy:
I understand that because projects at The Grateful Hearts are hand-made, there is a NO REFUND policy in place. In order to qualify for a credit for a future workshop, I agree to give at least 48 hours notice if I must cancel my reservation or find someone to come in my place. I understand that if I have to cancel within 24 hours of this workshop OR I fail to show or arrive later than 20 minutes after the start time, the reservation fee I am about to pay will be forfeited. I also understand that NO unfinished projects will be given if I fail to attend this workshop.

If you are the hostess of an event and paid your reservation fee to hold you event you agree to the term and policies set forth when registering. A non-refundable $75 private party fee is required to hold private workshops and parties. This ensures you have the space to yourself to enjoy the workshop!
